Hope 103.2 Open Day - Nov '09

Despite a total fire ban, the line-up on the Mobile Stage Truck for the Hope 103.2 Open Day was sizzling hot!!

With special guest appearances by Guy Sebastian, Matt Lucas, New Empire, Planet of the Stereos, The Robertson Brothers and Melisa Bester, a great day was had by all.

The event also formed the last day of the 103.2 radiothon 2009, a fund raiser for the community based station, raising over $261,000.00 to keep them on air and making them the first digital Christian radio station in Australia.

The scorching sun didn't seem to deter the screaming girls flocking to the stage for New Empire – the Cronulla band, wrapped to be back in front of their Sydney fans.

With much dancing by both the crowd and the band, their soon to be released song “the summer sky” was a huge success. For more band news, see them at
