“Mobile Stage Truck” began in 2010 with our smallest stage “The Gig Rig”.
As our name suggests, we had not anticipated that our “truck” would become “trucks” – and certainly not so soon. You know what they say about hindsight…
The first one was built quite simply to ‘bring the music to the people’ – a way of making it easy for musos and artists to get in front of crowds.
The One Stop Shop philosophy (stage, sound, light, power, engineers) was designed to bring down costs and make set up and pack down times fast so the artists could just focus on their music. We thought that our main market would be small bands, booking us for private parties and small functions.
Right from the beginning it was apparent that was not where we were headed…
Almost immediately our main clientele became event organisers – big and small - and we quickly became well recognised for the unique service we provided. Our catch phrase was “You provide the bands and we’ll do the rest” which is still true to this day.
Now in our 8th year and onto our 6th truck build, we are still filling a giant gap in the market for fast, efficient outdoor event solutions.
Even with CJ, our massive 13 x 8m semi-trailer stage sitting at a whopping 6.5m height, we can still set up with full production in under a few hours and be out of there just as quickly.
Over the years we have worked countless times with almost all the Sydney Councils and have been expanding further and more regularly into Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane and of course a heap of regional areas where our “Mobile” service really shines!
Few days go by without one of us saying “we need more trucks” followed quickly by “we need a bigger warehouse”…
